Text: Chen Jinfang In addition to the changes in the electoral system within the DPP, the transition of power within the party is also one of the important factors. After the DPP's motion to dissolve factions, the loss of power in 2008, and the election of Tsai Ing-wen as president, the party's political leaders have changed several times, and factional politics have been shuffled many times. In the process of shuffling the factions, the "Bian faction" that once dominated the political pivot in the past gradually disintegrated as Chen Shuibian stepped down and fell into a fraud case. Although the "Su clan" is still alive, the tenure of Su Zhenchang's executive director is still unknown, which also affects the continuation of the Soviet clique and how it will be integrated vertically and horizontally.
With the expansion of the DPP, the Bian and Xie groups emerged The so-called DPP, in the early days, was an alliance against the one-party dictatorship united front of the Kuomintang. After the beautiful island incident, the central and local elections have significantly increased the number of votes and seats for "non-Party" members. Among them, Chen Shui-bian and Xie Changting, who were elected as Taipei City Councillors, and Su Zhenchang, who was elected as Taiwan Provincial Councilor, have professional skills. In addition, they also served as defense lawyers for the victims of the Isle of Beauty Incident, and were highly supported by supporters outside the wedding photo retouching services party during the election process. For example, at that time Chen Shui-bian, Xie Changting and Su Zhenchang were still in their infancy in the non-party movement, while Kang Ningxiang and others were regarded as leaders of the non-party movement. In addition to the parliamentary movement, a series of non-party magazines and budding social movements that fought for freedom of speech were also another branch of the non-party movement. The parliamentary line and the mass movement line became the focus of the non-party movement in the 1980s. Kang Ningxiang, Gan Jinfu, You Qing and others, who were led by the parliamentary line, later formed the "Public Policy Seminar for Non-Party Public Officials" (referred to as the Public Affairs Council). Qiu Yiren and Wu Nairen,
who put forward the mass movement line, formed the "Non-Party Editors and Writers Association" (referred to as the Association of Editors and Writers), and the Public Affairs Council later cooperated with the Association of Editors to form the People's Association. Therefore, when the DPP formed the party, there was a long-term cause of factional division. In addition to cultivating talents and disseminating opinions, running a non-party magazine is also enough to challenge the crumbling martial law system. If the magazine is banned, it will have more news effect. Therefore, although running a magazine costs money, it has the ambition to develop. of people outside the party are willing to give it a try. Chen Shui-bian and Xie Changting are no exception. Chen Shui-bian, Xie Changting and Su Zhenchang were all members of the Public Administration Council in their early years, but during the operation of the Public Administration Council, Chen Shui-bian had already shown his ambition. Running his own magazine on Penglai Island has gradually become one of the hilltops. Naturally, Xie Changting is not behind in running his own new culture magazine. At this time, the Yuliang complex between Chen Shuibian and Xie Changting began to spread.
